This charming London bus is a tribute to legendary design. The double-decker bus is bursting with authentic details such as the bright red paintwork, the panoramic windscreen, the specially manufactured tread tires, the sign with the destination and the open rear entrance complete with handrail, waste paper basket for validated tickets, fire extinguisher and half-spiral staircase to the upper viewing deck. The functions include a hinged hood with engine and a detailed driver's cab with sliding door. The roof and upper deck can be removed to provide access to the detailed lower deck. There are "worn" seats and other authentic details such as items left behind - a forgotten umbrella, a newspaper, an empty drinks can and "discarded" chewing gum. Double-sided advertising posters in the style of the 1950s or with advertising for today's London are included as printed labels.
